About

Professor Mendis is Node Leader on manufacturing innovation and a national leader in structural engineering innovation for prefabricated building components. He is Director of the ARC Training Centre for Advanced Manufacturing of Prefabricated Housing and on the AMGC Steering Group to establish an Australian Prefab Innovation Hub. He has mentored more than 20 ECRs and 50 PhD students, with an h-index of 47 and over 9200 citations.
