With over 37 years of consulting experience, Ralph Belperio is eminent in the design, documentation, and delivery of commercial, industrial, institutional and residential developments.

Ralph has developed expertise in the repurposing of old buildings, including those with very low concrete strengths.

Ralph leads Aurecon’s Timber Expertise capability, having worked with the timber industry across his long consulting career.  He has carried out research in glue laminated timber reinforced with carbon fibre.  His current areas of research include Modular School Buildings and applications for Robotics in Timber Construction, culminating recently in a successful “proof of concept” at Murdoch University in Western Australia
