The role of timber for healthy buildings
Project Under Development
This project using experiential surveys and the monitoring of interior environmental conditions, will undertake an assessment of building occupant experiences within Timber, Timber rich, and Non-timber buildings. The buildings will ideally be located within three distinctly different climate types, namely; warm and humid Brisbane, temperate Sydney, and cool temperate Launceston.

Node Introduction Video:
Objectives/Deliverables
- develop methods to conduct short web based, and long-term occupant qualitative surveys, (the qualitative surveys will include informed and non-informed participant groupings)
- install equipment, in parallel to Node 1 and Node 2.3 activities, to enable short-term and long-term collection of interior environmental quality data, and
- Analyse the data collected to explore correlations between the qualitative experiential surveys and building interior environments.
